Here’s another project I’ve been working on for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. Community Harvest is a program that encourages home gardeners to donate overage of produce from their gardens to help fight hunger in their community. This project is still in the works but I wanted to share what we have so far, the Community Harvest logo and donation flyer targeting home gardeners. More to come!
This year, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the wonderful people over at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, lending my skills to design materials for a couple of their programs. The Farm Stand Project is a program that offers produce at cost to low income families by setting up farm stands in their neighborhood. All 14 farm stands needed a poster and flyer to get the word out. We decided it would be helpful to create a map of each location to make the stands easy to locate. I developed logo, flyers, posters and schedules (large and small) to promote the stands.
Here’s a poster I just finished for an annual music event called Punkapalooza. This is a fun bash with loads of talented musicians performing. I went with a circus feel, trying to stress the extravaganza that will ensue! If you like classic rock, blues, bluegrass and jam music, this gig is well worth checking out!
